Contemporary Painting
My art is a constant exploration of balance, both visually and in life. I imagine each painting as if it were delicately balanced on a single point—too much weight in one direction, and it might tip. This mirrors the harmony in nature, something I strive to honor in my work. At the same time, my paintings embrace chaos. They are colorful, wild, and unpredictable. Yet within the disorder, there’s always a hidden structure, much like life itself. I’ve learned to trust that even in uncertainty, balance exists.
For years I struggled with recognizing my voice, comparing my work to others—whether to metaphoric figurative painters like Rubins or Manet, or to more contemporary legends like Pollock or Basquiat. It took time to realize my art doesn’t need to fit into a specific mold to be meaningful. Now I focus on the process rather than the outcome, letting the piece evolve naturally as I express my mindset and intuit its needs. Every stage—preparing the palette, stretching the canvas, making the strokes—contributes to the art honestly. And once a painting is finished, it belongs to the viewer regardless of my intentions. No two people see it the same way, and I love that. Art isn’t about one truth—it’s about infinite possibilities.
