Ann Armstrong

Multidisciplinary Art (movement, video, photography, sculpture, basket weaving, inflatable art)

I love engaging with and celebrating what is. The process I most often tap into prioritizes play and experimentation over a predetermined vision, outcome, or style. It's common for me to explore both digital and analog distortions. I prefer output that is open to interpretation by the viewer. Ambiguity and curiosity turn my brain on--things that are overly defined and fully "known" turn my brain off. My creative practice is essential for my mental health--it's where I find agency and allows me to feel more at home in the world.
