Linda Matthews began working with leather around five years ago. Learning how it works, the characteristics of different types of leather, tooling, dying and making wallets, purses etc., she took great pleasure designing and crafting items for her friends and herself. She grew up in north Manchester England and learned how to sew at an early age, She's always had a passion for fashion and design, and her first job as a teenager was working in a factory on industrial sewing machines. During the pandemic, like so many others, she had the time to dive into her design work through the exploration of the medium (and countless hours at her workbench). She developed her signature style, using only the highest quality of buttery soft leather. All of her purses and wallets are hand made with loving attention to every detail.
