With rotating exhibitions every two months, a collection of work from over fifteen artists, and artists working and showcasing in their studios, there’s always some fresh inspiration to discover at Hangar. At Hangar, we celebrate the transformative nature of art - a powerful medium for expressing ideas and emotions. Our curated collection showcases skillfully executed artwork with meaningful and thought-provoking concepts.
We offer a diverse and range of mediums and styles - from paintings and drawings to linoleum block prints and jewelry. For Art04 this year, we're proud to host our resident artists, Arielle Austin, Ella Nilsson and Cassie Gonzalez of Pixel Perfect Art, as well as exhibiting artists, Danika Ostrowski's solo show, Out of Office. Currently studying for a master's in scientific illustration in the Netherlands, Danika is on a temporary hiatus from fine art. This exhibition features her available work, including never-before-seen sketches and studies —don’t miss this opportunity to collect her art! About the artist: Danika Ostrowski explores panoramic views, plant life, and geological formations of national parks and public lands through the lenses of memory and emotion. Deeply interested in nature, her work extends beyond landscapes into the study and visual documentation of the natural world. She is currently pursuing a master’s degree in scientific illustration, further bridging the gap between art and science. A dedicated advocate for public land preservation, she paints both en plein air and in the studio, using photographs, sketches, and memory as sources.
