Mosaics, Printed Digital Art, Embellished Prints, Painting, Upcycled Mixed Media

Living an unfettered artist’s dream, “grego” is a digital collage and mosaic fine artist living on the edge - of downtown Austin. Her prior career spanned four decades, starting in a detention home as a housemother - a brief yet fabulous job! Afterwards she spent most of her time working for our "uncle", so to speak. She used her art education in real life, a BA with a minor in studio art, for nothing. It did not pay the rent. Never-the-less, she was wildly creative with ideas in her work space. Some might call that art. Others maybe not. Still, the studio art stint in college gave her a foundation that serves her presenlty. She moved from canvas, clay, silkscreens, sculpting, etc. to digital art renditions offered as prints and canvas, with/without embellishments. Mosaic pieces with brilliant shards reflecting light, colors, and her designs are also in her portfolio. Describing her work in one word: grego enjoys the grays in life while embracing a world of vivid color. Favorite number took over the keyboard - there are 13 words for anyone who is counting.
