My studio is in the complex of Thornton Road Studios in Austin, Texas. I’m in the Waterloo Watercolor Group and participate in their shows, where I have won awards for my paintings. Lately I’ve been using a layering technique in acrylics that makes interesting patterns for gowns for ladies on the red carpet or for other subjects that the background suggests.. When a watercolor painting didn’t turn out so well or has been around a long time, I’ll make a box out of it and those have sold well. I also sometimes do collage. I knit scarves from jewel ladder yarns and make earrings out of anodized aluminum rings with niobium hooks.
