Sam Angoori
Painting
Sam started painting with watercolors in the '80s and with acrylics in the '90s. For the past 15 years, he has been primarily painting with oil. Sam paints en plein air as well as studio work. Sam graduated from the University of Texas and, like most artists, worked for many years in other professions to support his family and the love for Art. For him, painting means communication, emotionally conveying a message and capturing a uniqueness in time. Sam has studied with nationally known artists, mostly with Scott Christensen, Michael Siegel and continuing education with Art Students League of New York.
